Brooklands, the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation is a Museum
occupying part of the former Brooklands motor-racing track in Weybridge Surrey.
Discover supersonic flight with the Concorde Experience and get up close to the motors and aircraft designed, built and flown at Brooklands. Explore the historic site which is brought to life through interactive collections of motor vehicles, aircraft and real life experiences. Hear the stories of the pioneering men and women that shaped the world of motoring and aviation throughout eight decades of the 20th century. The Sunbeam Cafe offers an all day full range of drinks, sandwiches and cakes, hot food is served between 11.45am – 2.30pm.
Our winter break this year is to Warners Hotel at Cricket St Thomas,
Somerset, for a “Martini and Mistletoe” event. The hotel has an enormous
amount of history from visitors such as Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton to the famous TV comedy “To the Manor Born” with beautiful lakes, woodlands and gardens, designed by Capability Brown. It has all the usual activities including an indoor pool, spa and Nordic Walking, Riffle Shooting and Putting. Live nightly entertainment and excellent dining.
