I am a retired Chartered Accountant. I moved to Pembury at the start of 2023 and one of my first acts was to join the Pembury u3a. My interests include walking, gardening, history and looking after my two grandchildren. As well as being Chair, I also edit the website.
As I am undergoing extensive medical treatment, as agreed by Special Resolution at the AGM, Maggie Hall will act as Chair until I am fully recovered.

Before retirement I worked in childrens homes and pre-school. I also supported family carers. I enjoy reading, supporting football and nights out with friends.

I left Scotland in 1969 to work in London, and subsequently Sevenoaks, as a PA/Administrator.
Upon retirement, I became a volunteer at the Hospice in the Weald.
I’m a sociable person, and being a member of the Pembury U3A has enriched my life.
