Outing to St Albans
Leaving the library at 8.50 and The Camden Arms at 9 am. There is an optional Cathedral tour at 2.15 pm.
Allowing 2 hrs for coach travel we hope to arrive around 11 am which should give time to go to the market, visit shops, lunch etc. before the Cathedral visit. For those who don't want the tour there is the Museum and Gallery, Clock Tower, Roman Theatre to visit as well as the Hypocaust and Verulamium Meseum. Plenty t do even if it rains!
